_Generalities

The magazine Entorno subscribes to the use of the creative commons license: Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA), in order to collaborate in the production of scientific research.

Entorno is a magazine that promotes open access and the full dissemination of scientific knowledge. It publishes scientific articles in the areas of Social Sciences, Engineering and Computer Science, Law, Humanities, Economics, Commerce and Administration, Architecture, Design, technology and Education.

_{General criteria for the acceptance of articles}

• Articles must be scientific in nature.
• Accepted articles must be original and unpublished, so they must not be published in whole or in part in other publications prior to its publication in this journal. Presentation and publication at a later date will be possible with prior authorization from the editor and the author of the article.
• Reception of the works does not imply an obligation to publish it, nor a commitment regarding the date of its appearance. The opinion expressed by the authors is their sole responsibility.

• Language: The Spanish language is mainly used; in addition to relying on summaries and key words on the English language.
• Extension and presentation: The complete article will not exceed 5,500 palabras, written one and a half spaces, with indentation on the first line of 1.27 cm, without additional spaces between paragraphs and between titles, in “Times New Roman” type font and size twelve; with right, left, top and bottom margins of 2.54 cm.
• Title and authors: It is recommended to use titles that are fully related to the topic, limiting themselves to a maximum of 15 words. The content must be described specifically, clearly and concisely, avoiding general titles. Below the title the name and surname of each author will be noted. The institution of origin, academic titles and current position will be indicated in the footnote.
• Summary and keywords: Each article will be accompanied by a summary in Spanish and one in English, no longer than 250 words; In the case of articles derived from research, the summary must clearly indicate: 1. Study objectives. 2. Place and date of realization. 3 Method. 4. Main results with statistical interpretation and 5. Discussion or conclusions. 

   

  For articles other than research, the summary must contain information related to the objectives, the methodology on which it is based, synthesis of the main thesis, academic interpretation, results and conclusions.

  Do not include any information or conclusion that does not appear in the text. The summary should allow readers to know the content of the article. In fact, it is the only part of the article that is included, in addition to the title, in bibliographic information dissemination systems.

   
• Article body: Works that present research or studies are generally divided into sections corresponding to the IMRYD format: introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion. Update, reflection and bibliographic review works usually require other titles and subtitles in accordance with the content.
• References: It must reflect the complete source (authors, year, title, edition, publisher, country, etc.). It is recommended to use sources with ISSN and ISBN. It is suggested that you consult the APA 7th edition standards for citing monographs, journals, documents, among others. Consult the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, APA 7th ed., at the following address: https://biblioteca.utec.edu.sv/web/APA-7Ed.pdf; These will include the cited sources; The notes or links in the text will be made using the form “last name, year” in parentheses, example: (López, 2013) and the textual quotes will be placed in quotation marks. References should appear at the end of the text, organized alphabetically starting from the first entry element, as specified in the bibliographic style of the American Psychological Association (APA), version 7a. The use of bibliographic managers (Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, among others) is recommended to facilitate work with the bibliography.

Originality requirement:

The articles submitted must be original and unpublished, so they must not be published in whole or in part in other publications prior to publication in this journal. Presentation and publication at a later date will be possible with prior authorization from the editor and the author of the article.

Shipping Preparation Checklist

All shipments must meet the following requirements.

• • The article must have clarity, solidity and sufficient bibliographic support.
  • Send attached or at the end of the article, a summary of the academic or scientific life of the author or authors (No more than one paragraph of 12 lines maximum).
  • The tables must be constructed with the APA 7th ed. style format. If they are taken from a text or website, a note of their origin must be placed in all cases and the file must be sent separately. If they are words in another language or Latin, they must be in italics.
  • Tables and images that are used in the article must also be sent in a separate folder for handling at the time of design, and correctly numbered in the document.
  • Neither Utec nor the Editorial Committee are committed to the judgments made by the authors of the articles. Each writer assumes responsibility for his or her views and opinions.
  • The text must contain references or citations in accordance with APA standards. References will be included at the end of the work, ordering them alphabetically by author and, if it is an official document, by the name of the institution or Law.
  • Collaborations must be sent in Word format tocamila.calles@utec.edu.sv
  • Each article must contain: Title (In Spanish and English) Name of the author with their institutional affiliation and email. Summary of content (Maximum 120 words, in Spanish and English), Keywords (Minimum 3 words and maximum 5, in Spanish and English), Introduction (Maximum 3 sections), Method, Results, Conclusions or Discussion, References (Only those cited in the text and under the APA Standard 7th ed.).
  • The Editorial Committee reserves the right to review each article, and send it to referees, to guarantee its quality and, if applicable, suggest modifications. You can also reject those that do not comply with the required conditions.
  • In the case of using images (graphics, photographs and illustrations) they must be original, to obtain quality when printing.
