Director's letter

The specialized journal of museology Kóot, is a publication of the Directorate of Culture of Universidad Tecnológica de El Salvador, which is designed with a multidisciplinary approach, which contributes, from the perspective of social sciences, important aspects of culture, museology, anthropology, art, philosophy, among other topics, which are the product of the human being, his reality and his environment.

Our greatest effort is to deliver an acute academic vision, and, above all, of quality and with new, interesting and timely information so that our readers can build a more sustained knowledge of the social reality that is being addressed. For this reason, we have a very demanding Editorial Board that puts its best contribution in each edition and knows so that the information that is disseminated pleases our public.

As an academy we are committed to generating permanent debate, analysis and reflection on various topics that are the object of investigation and interpretation by experts or researchers in the social sciences. We do not claim to be trustees of the truth; much less believe that we have it. We are convinced that the museum magazine Kóot is a space for specialists such as anthropologists, archaeologists, sociologists, political scientists, philosophers, among others, to make their research and academic interpretations public.

In almost a decade of work, we have managed to position ourselves in the academic community, both nationally and internationally, as one of the pluralist journals of Salvadoran academic thought. Although all opinions and contributions are the sole responsibility of the people who present them, we believe that the museum magazine Kóot is a portal that is recognized for its seriousness and professionalism in the dissemination of academic thought.

We thank all our readers for their acceptance and interest in the magazine; and we trust that you will be our best letter of recommendation so that other readers who still do not know about this publication can access it at no cost.

Sincerely,

Ramon D. Rivas

Director
