Abstract

We are very pleased to present this number 12 of the Museología Kóot journal, especially because despite the threat that the planet is experiencing through the Covid 19 pandemic, it is possible for us to reach our dear readers through the Internet or as printed medium.

Kóot, indexed in Latindex, reaches the most distant corners of the world thanks to digital highways and specialized Google search engines. We are aware, thanks to correspondence, invitations to conferences and congresses that have come to our newsroom, from scientific institutions and academics who follow our work in countries as dissimilar as China, Italy, Spain, Mexico, the United States, Argentina and of course El Salvador.

Our specialized journal fills a void and a lack that exists not only nationally but internationally, in a developing world where museography has taken center stage as a historical, anthropological, archaeological, sociological point of reference, present with thematic museums in all the megalopolises and cities of the planet.
