Abstract

In our previous issue of the Museología Kóot journal, we highlighted a number of articles that are of public interest. Among those themes are: The heliconias; the National Library and custody of heritage; The history of the Indies; Autistic children; the Tazumal after the eruption of the Ilopango volcano; a little history of Santa María Ostuma; humanism and its current challenges; an essay on the flight of the lark by Mario Bencastro; The portrait of Dorian Gray, a review of the life of a detainee in Mariona and something about 500 years of Spanish in the United States, among other no less important issues.

In the 11th edition of Kóot, you will find new essays and opinion articles, which have been prepared by social researchers and academics to expand or update our knowledge of the social sciences, museology and anthropology, the reason for being of this journal.
